Main responsibilities:
- Strategy Execution: Define and implement digitalization and AI initiatives aligned with business priorities and IT strategy.
- Business Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, data teams and external partners to translate needs into digital solutions and foster data-driven decision-making.
- Technology Enablement: Work closely with IT to ensure scalable data platforms, system integration, and secure digital architecture.
- Use Case Development: Identify, prioritize, and drive high-impact AI, analytics, and automation use cases.
- Value Realization: Ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes such as efficiency gains, cost savings, and growth.
- Capability Building: Promote digital skills, increase data literacy, and support adoption of new tools and ways of working.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster innovation and continuously enhance digital capabilities and processes.
The position is based at Elopak Corporate Offices in Spikkestad, Norway. You will collaborate closely with global teams and external partners, and some travel (~ 20%) should be expected.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in Engineering, IT, Data Science or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in digital, data or technology roles, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience with data platforms, analytics and modern digital architectures
- Strategic and execution-oriented mindset with experience driving digital transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to translate technology into business value and impactful use cases
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Legal authorization to work in Norway is required
