Elopak has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Project Engineer to join one of the most reputable and environmentally friendly companies within the packaging industry. This role combines engineering expertise with strong customer-facing and commercial abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Engineering & Technical Tasks

· Develop detailed AutoCAD layouts for complete production lines and packaging solutions.

· Conduct accurate cost calculations, prepare quotations, and evaluate project feasibility.

· Prepare technical documentation, machine specifications, and project proposals.

· Collaborate with R&D, production, and service teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Customer Interaction & Sales Support

· Participate in customer visits, technical meetings, and plant surveys.

· Present layouts, technical solutions and commercial proposals clearly and professionally.

· Support the sales team by translating customer needs into optimized technical solutions.

· Assist in negotiations by explaining project scope, benefits, and value drivers.

Commercial Competencies

· Actively identify upselling or optimization opportunities during project discussions.

· Analyze customer workflows and highlight the business value of proposed solutions.

· Collaborate closely with the sales team to define winning strategies for key accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical or similar). Master’s degree is a plus.

· At least 3 year experience in Food Industry, Food grade packaging or equivalent. 

· Knowledge of AutoCAD.

· High skills in communication with customers.

· English and Spanish is fluency required. French is plus.

· Availability to travel.
