Are you motivated by working at the intersection of treasury operations, financial markets and strategic financing in a listed international company? Join Elopak as Treasury Manager and play a key role in strengthening our front- and mid-office treasury capabilities. In this role, you will work across cash management and forecasting, financial risk management and hedge execution, debt financing, treasury reporting, and strategic decision support.

 

 

What you will do:

 

  • Cash Management & Forecasting: Manage centralized cash positions, short-term financing needs and cash forecasting globally, supporting efficient use of the Group’s cashpools, understanding of key cash flow drivers and optimization of cash utilization across the Group.
  • Risk Management & Hedge Execution: Monitor foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity exposures, prepare hedge proposals and execute approved hedging transactions in line with approved strategies, mandates and limits, including related hedge documentation and support for hedge accounting processes, where relevant.
  • Funding & Financing Support: Support debt and funding activities, including refinancing, capital structure and credit rating analysis and monitoring, covenant reporting, bank interaction and strategic financing initiatives.
  • Treasury Reporting & Decision Support: Prepare front- and mid-office treasury reporting and decision support for internal stakeholders and relevant external financing, covering forecasts, exposures, hedges, funding, counterparty risk, policy compliance and other key treasury metrics.
  • Governance & Compliance: Monitor compliance with Treasury policies, delegated mandates and approved limits, while ensuring strong controls, documentation and clear segregation of duties from confirmation, settlement and accounting activities.
  • Trade Finance, Counterparty Risk & Insurance: Monitor counterparty exposures and limits, provide treasury input on guarantees, letters of credit and trade finance exposures, and support the annual insurance renewal process with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, business regions and external financial institutions while driving improvements to treasury processes, systems, reporting and data quality.

 

The position is based at Elopak’s corporate offices in Oslo, Norway, and reports to the Head of Treasury & Investor Relations. You will collaborate closely with Finance leadership, banks, and internal stakeholders across the organization, gaining broad exposure to treasury operations, financial risk management, and strategic financing activities.

 

 

What you bring:

 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience from corporate treasury, banking, financial risk management, capital markets, or similar finance roles
  • Strong understanding of cash management, cash forecasting, funding, financial exposures and risk management, including foreign exchange, interest rate or commodity hedging
  • Experience with exposure analysis and hedge execution, funding, treasury reporting, treasury management systems and market data/reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights, recommendations and decision support
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in Norway is required
